Facility Info

What is Arctic Heat Retreat?

Arctic Heat Retreat is providing an indoor, Sauna and Cold Plunge experience in the city of Fort Langley, BC.

Our facility has been created with relaxation in mind. With only three clients allowed per session, we harbour and encourage a relaxed atmosphere unlike typical public saunas.

Why Should I Sauna and Cold Plunge?

When you come to Arctic Heat Retreat, you will go through what we call “Hot and Cold Cycling.” This practice is where you put yourself through the temperature swing of being in a hot sauna, and subsequently hopping in a cold plunge. While hot and cold cycling is generally perceived as uncomfortable in the moment, the outcomes are tremendous, particularly with the benefit of improving your mood and alertness for up to hours post session.

What to Expect for My Session?

Our facility is an indoor, open concept facility, in which there is no privacy between anyone inside the facility. For a better idea of how our facility operates, we highly recommend checking out our Instagram page @arcticheatretreat.

Within the facility, we have one communal sauna for all customers to share and enjoy, three separate, non-chlorinated cold plunges in which each customers uses their own plunge throughout the session, and lastly, one large communal shower used for rinsing off before sessions and after using the sauna.

The main purpose of our facility is "Hot and Cold Cycling." The protocol of cycling we recommend is to start the session with a 10-20 minute sauna. After this, you would want to cold plunge for 1-2 minutes. Within our 65-minute session, you can conduct 2-3 cycles, with some additional time to relax and drink tea and water.

The purpose of our facility is to get your body out of its comfort zone. If you use our sauna and cold plunge according to our recommendations, you should feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and awake. There is no feeling quite like a great Hot and Cold session.

Where to Park?

Arctic Heat Retreat is located at the address 9124 Glover Road in Fort Langley, BC. We are Unit #5 in the Heritage Manor Building.

We recommend that you arrive in Fort Langley 15 minutes before your session so you can find parking.

We have two main parking lots for our "Heritage Manor" building. The first is a parking lot behind our facility. To get here, turn into the Heritage Manor parking lot off of Church Street. For this parking you must park in the CUSTOMER parking only, which is located against the building.

Our secondary parking lot is located beside Living Waters Church. Turning into the church's parking lot from Glover Road, you can find 10 stalls on the right side of the parking lot with a sign that states that the parking if for Heritage Manor.

We have included a map below that displays where these two parking lots are located.
